Zakhar Berkut is a ski resort and recreation complex located in the heart of the Carpathians, not far from the village. Slavske, in the village of. Sloboda It includes the Zakhar Berkut hotel with a folk-restaurant, a fast-food cafe “Three kettles”, a hotel and restaurant “Vysoky Verh” on the top of the mountain, and of course the highlight of the complex – a chair lift with twin chairs, ski lifts and a ski slopes system . For children there is a multi-lift.
The hotel offers 24 comfortable rooms (most of the balcony), as well as a restaurant, sauna, billiards, table tennis, football and a wide range of recreational facilities at any time of the year. For children, there is a playground and play room. In the summer months, there is a relaxation area with a swimming pool, sun loungers and arbors. The chair lift also works in the summer, carrying out observation climbs on Mount High Upper.
We owe our name to the hero of the eponymous story of Ivan Franko, a local public leader who was at the same time a philanderor, and history remembers how the community headed by Zakhar Berkut could have been able not only to stop the multidisciplinary Mongolian army by their own efforts, but also and destroy it. In this they helped courage, cohesiveness, wit and even the very nature of their native land.
